From the Bride:

"We go to the beach every December for my birthday and stay at the Channel House. Nate suggested we take a walk on the beach and it had snowed that morning and was clear and beautiful. We went to Yaquina Bay and there was a lone dead tree where we set up a camera and took a few photos together. Nate pushed the timer and ran over and instead of me jumping into his arms he got down on one knee and proposed. I screamed  and dropped to my knees and kissed him. Nate made the ring by hand and we later engraved it with the date and location."
